Music Ministry

“Being a part of the Visitation Music Ministry has been one of the most important parts of my life. I have gained a personal relationship with the Lord through music, and to be able to give back to the Lord in thanks with my voice (however small) allows me to sing to His glory.”

The primary role of the choirs and all music ministers at Visitation Church is to support the singing of the entire congregation at the liturgy. The secondary role of music ministry is to sing music for the assembly, creating an opportunity for meditation, listening, prayer, and joy through the beauty of music.

Other important parts of our ministry include hospitality to visitors in the spirit of our parish name, and the care and support of our fellow members.

“The people I sing with, and the congregation we lead in song, are my family. Visitation is a home to me, and I love serving with this community through music.”

Below is a short description of each of the main choirs that serve the parish. We are always interested in growing our family of musicians and vocalists. Check out the info below, and if you’d like more info or to volunteer for our music ministry, fill out the form at the bottom of this page and the Music Director or one of the choir directors will contact you.
