One of the Parish priorities identified in the Town Hall meetings and surveys in 2015 was the desire for more Adult Education opportunities. Building on the Parish’s successful Monday Night Lenten Supper and Spirituality series, the Parish Leadership team developed a monthly program called Faith, Food, and Fellowship.
The Faith, Food and Fellowship evenings are held on the second Monday of the month. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a Potluck dinner in which participants are asked to bring a salad, veggie or dessert to share. The main dish is provided by the parish, and is usually donated by one of the local restaurants. Families share the meal together and have an opportunity for meeting new people and sharing a bit of fellowship.
Around 7:10 p.m., the educational part of the program begins. The Presenter generally has an interactive style, including some discussion topics for folks at each table to talk about as part of the examination of the topic. The evening ends around 8:30 p.m. Topics generally come from the Suggestion Boxes in the Church, so please be sure to place your ideas for topics to be covered into those boxes. Check the website and bulletin for information about upcoming topics.
